Oh my! There are no adequate words to relate the emotions I feel tonight as I look through pictures of a journey that is so unforgettable and amazing! A Miracle! A Joy! An answer to our prayers!
Our Marlo Joy. Here is a little reflection of her first weeks. Hold on to your hats! She is absolutely perfect and quite adorable.

Jake's first glance at her after they took her to NICU |

After she was born they whisked her away, this is my first time seeing her. |

Daddy's wedding ring could go all the way up her arms and legs. |
 |
She thrived on our touch, and it was a healing feeling to feel her skin and watch her breathe. |

Kangaroo time with Daddy. |
 |
Just to look at her took our breath away. |
 |
Each thing she did was a miracle. |
 |
The amount of love and fear we felt is hard to describe. | | |

 |
I am in awe of her. |

This girl! What a gift! What a miracle! I cannot believe she is 4!!!! Four years ago as of right now, there was a fear inside of us that was so overwhelming, as I waited to deliver our tiny one into this world, too soon. At just 1lb 11oz, she was tiny, but mighty, and because God gave her the will and spunk of 10,000 men, she survived, and thrived. She is amazing.
What a blessing! What a journey!
Thanking God for this beautiful gift, after such sorrow. Oh, Marlo, if you could only know the love we have for you and how grateful we are for every day you have been a part of our lives...
Happy Birthday, Peanut.
