38 weeks ~ He is HERE!!!

I will have to have Daddy post a picture of the little guy a bit later, but I wanted to announce the happy news that our little buddy has arrived!

After a fairly short and uneventful labor, we welcomed our sweet baby boy into our arms.

Asher John Bassett Rinard was welcomed to the family at 7:36pm last evening, weighing in at 6lbs 12oz, and 20.75 inches in length. 

He instantly stopped crying as soon as they laid him on my chest and has been sweetly squeaky away all night long.  He has lots of hair, that is certain to be nice and red.  :) 

We are so blessed to have had a wonderful OB doctor that took amazing care of me throughout the pregnancy and made the delivery as stress free as possible.  So grateful for that.  Other than a little reaction I had to some medicines, all went extremely well. 

Praying that things stay uneventful!  For now, enjoying this precious little bundle as he sleeps next to me, making sounds that sound like a little piggy. 

There are no words to adequately describe how I feel right now.  So very blessed.
