When it came time to get my daughter her learners permit, I found myself apprehensive and nervous.
When it came time to get her actual license, I found myself incredibly fearful.
To let her drive out away from the house and leave my sights, and the safety of my direction brought tears to my eyes.
So, I prayed, and I hoped she didn't see that fear that gripped me and left me unsure of what to do.
Gah! This growing up stuff is for the birds!
In order to add a little more chaos in fear to our lives....
Our son started drivers training this week and has now passed the test to receive his learners permit.
We pick it up (the learners permit) this week. J starts his new job this week. A has classes to go to a couple days a week at a college campus 15 miles away, and we need another car to enable all this running around.
Let the gritted teeth and pushing a non existent brake begin. Again...
Oh joy!
