My Miss Marlo is hanging in there. She got to hold her Daddy yesterday. I say it like that because of another special girl that would raise her hands as high as she could and say, I want to hold you Mama. :) I wish I could shrink her back down to pee wee size and hear her say it again. Anyway, it stuck, and Marlo held her Dad, which made Daddy melt even more than he already had for her. Already wrapped around his fingers.
This mornings heart echo shows the PDA is still there, but very, very tiny. Not sure if they will be doing anything about it, or just watching. After her blood transfusion from Sunday she seems to be feeling much better. They have raised her milk intake to 3cc's as of today. She is also, very slowly gaining weight. She is not happy when her diaper is wet, and likes for her neighbor friend to be quiet and not scream. :) After being held, she looks annoyed that she had been put back in her isolette, but it's sure cute to see her all wide eyed and wiggly.
The Doctor's are happy with her progress. It's slow, but she is remaining stable. Still critical, but stable is good. I am running in to see her now, so there may be an update later, if I hear from the Doctors myself.
Pray that infection stays away, and her lungs continue to mature, for the PDA to close, and for her growth to be steady. We also would like to see that her breathing becomes better so she can come off the ventilator. That would be a big huge step in the right direction.
We have more pictures, hopefully we will have a chance to get them up soon. She is absolutely precious. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
