Yesterday morning little Miss Marlo Joy was delivered into this world at the young age of 26 weeks 5 days. We had hoped for more time, but I had started to develop an infection, which led to the need for a speedy delivery. I think it was one of the most frightening things I have ever experienced, besides what we went through last year with Johnny.
She weighed 1lb. 11oz. and was 14.5 inches long. She is SUPER tiny, but BEAUTIFULLY perfect. This morning she is stable. It will be a roller coaster to have a preemie in the NICU. Everyday will bring something new, and it won't always be easy, or stable. Today we celebrate a stable and beautiful little girl. Please keep her close in your prayers. She is delicate, and there will be hard days.
Today, we celebrate her arrival, and thank God for a stable first day. Happy Mothers Day.
What a precious little gift. :) Hopefully, I can get Jake to post a picture of her soon. She is gorgeous.
Keep Praying!

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
