About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

Antepartum Unit and Sleep

May 4, 2011

We have made it another day! Mommy and baby Marlo the past couple of days in Labor and Delivery. Today they moved from their Labor Suite back to the Antepartum Unit. We are watching possible signs of infection and the stress levels of the baby very closely.

We have now successfully made it a couple of days into week 26, and thank God for each hour that passes. Our goal now is no infection and to make it to the weekend with week 27 to follow on Monday.

Last night mommy thinks she may have got 4 hours of sleep! This is quite an increase from the night before, so we are also very thankful for that sleep.

Stay away infection - stay away!
