2 Weeks Old!!

Has it really been two weeks....um yes it has, although my body and mind would say it's been longer. Miss Marlo is 2 weeks old today!

We are waiting on the results from the follow up chest x-ray. This should let us know if we were successful getting rid of the pulmonary edema. Her blood gases showed a much better Co2 level that might indicate it is either better or gone. She did give us a couple scares yesterday, and has an air leak in her ventilator tube. We are told this isn't a big deal and it means she's growing, but after all the alarms going off yesterday I am not sold on it being okay.

She weighed 810 grams the night before last, which is about 1 lb. 12.5 oz. They are continuing to raise her milk intake almost daily. If the chest x-ray looks good, she will be getting 5cc's every 3 hours. This will help her to gain weight at a better pace than we have been for the last two weeks.

We will try to get some more pictures up, and another update very soon. I hadn't turned my computer on for 4 days; just so exhausted, more and more everyday. Thank you all for your continued prayers, Mommy, Daddy and especially Miss Marlo are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo very thankful. :)
