About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

A Big Day!

Feb 11, 2011

12 YEARS!!!  My baby girl is 12 today!!!  Holy Cow, that happened sooo fast!  6lbs 15.7oz, has turned into a lovely young lady, that still isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.  Actually, her hands are always dirty, she knows how to have fun!

Here is a little of the action from this evening.

Ice Cream Cake and Presents

Herbie thought the stuffed bear was for him...he drove us nuts all night!

A New Camera from Mom and Dad!

A wonderful friend that got her a gift of a Disney Pass!  :)   Surprise!

12 years ago I could hold her in my arms, close to me.  This is as close as it gets now, but I wouldn't trade it!

She was the best baby!  She loved to sleep, and snuggle, and always had a smile on her face.  She has a love for life that's contagious.  Ask her a question about animals, and she probably has the answer...especially horses!  I look at things differently because of her.  This little girl was not supposed to be here.  We were told repeatedly that we had lost her, that they couldn't find her while I was pregnant, and there was no hope.  She truly is a miracle to behold, and I am so very thankful to have her in our life.  No longer a little girl, it's a frightening thought for me...especially when I consider how quickly it has gone.

Our miracle, one of many.  Forever, thankful!
