About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

My Wild Animals

Oct 18, 2010

So we took our wild animals to the Wild Animal Park a couple weeks ago, on a very chilly and drizzly day.

Here is a little glimpse of our fun day.

The Gorillas were having breakfast, so we posed.

He wanted to come home with us.  Can't you see it in his eyes?

Annoyed by his unfortunate name: Siberian Wild Ass...poor little fella.  We liked him best though!

Emma:  The only one to brave going down to the beach in the cold.

It was a very cold day at Encinitas Beach, 50 degrees and rainy...cold children and cold Mama and Papa.
She's got one more inch to go....
I love this Picture!  :)

We attempted to have lunch at the Potato Shack, but we got there right as they closed at 2...bummer, maybe next time.   So, the next best thing we could find was an eclectic pizza restaurant called Besta Wan Pizza House...Yummo!  Their pizza was good, but they had a couple really yummy sandwiches that took the winning prize.

We wrapped up the evening at Tapioca Express in SD meeting with Beka, and her roommates.  It was great fun, and we were introduced to something new to us, Milk Teas with Boba.

These last pictures of are of us waiting in the car for Beka to get off of work and meet us.
My what a red beard you have!
Busy day!!!   So much Fun!
