When we got home last week from my sisters wedding, I was greeted with ants taking over my house. UGH!
It was not a good feeling to walk in and see these dirty little pests all over my kitchen and the rooms up above the kitchen. I had left the house spotless before our trip. Nothing was out of place, and every surface, nook and cranny were spic and span. I love coming home from a long trip to a sparkling house. My dreams were crushed when we walked in and saw this disgusting mess they were leaving.
The heat of California had driven these little buggers in to all the neighbors homes as well in search of cool temperatures and water. While they were at it, they helped themselves to the food in the pantry, including the dog food.
Their first mistake was coming into my home, and their second...well they didn't know I am a force to be reckoned with. So armed with rubber gloves, ground cinnamon, bug spray, kaboom, ant bait and a vacuum I went after their nastiness. It took me days to get a handle on it, but my persistence seems to have paid off. I think we may just be ant free. Finally! It only took a week. Good grief.
I won!

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
