Yesterday, was a fun day. My family and I loaded up and headed to the happiest place on earth...
At least that is what it's supposed to be.
If you ever go to Disney, stop for a second and take a look at the faces around you. Here is what you will see:
Frowns, looks of disappointment, even anger.
Something else you will see:
Kids crying, Parents yelling, and people rushing around in a fury.
Years ago, when Alli was a baby, Jake took me to Disney for the first time. One of the things I remember in vivid detail from that day was a mom and her daughter. Their conversation went like this.
Mom: WHAT is your PROBLEM?
5 year old girl: LEEEAVE MEEEE ALOOONE!!! while stomping her feet.
It struck me kind of funny, being that I was in the Happiest Place On Earth! Haha.
Ah, that's my idea of a wonderful vacation!!!
Thankfully for my family this is not what it looks like. We happily strolled the park through the crowds and took our time deciding what we wanted to do, and see. I think we were the happiest family there, by a long way too. We rode what we wanted, and waited patiently in lines. We goofed off with the kids, and laughed. We had a really great time.
I am so thankful for a wonderful family that can have fun even in the midst of chaos. We are AWESOME!!!

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
