Southern California can have it's pluses. The middle of the night earthquakes are not one of those things.
Why must these happen during the night? It always scares me more to be startled awake than when I am already up during the day. I think since we have moved here there have been about one per month in the middle of my sleep. This one was the largest but, farthest away at 4.4. It made the house sound like it was groaning.
Nice, huh?
I am praying there isn't a big one looming in the near future.

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
