30 weeks!

Okay, it's the final countdown!  We got here fast, amazingly fast! 

At my appointment today the Doctor and I both agreed that it would be best to induce the week before my due date.  I have never been induced before so it's hard for me to want to do this.  The problems we are running into are these...

Hubby has an important trip the week of my due date!  Go figure  :)  This is not something I would ask him to cancel, it's much more important than just a business trip.  He has waited and worked many, many years for this and it just happens to fall at a very unfortunate time! 

Add to this problem not having any other family near by, and a Grandma that would like to be here when baby comes, or at least when I bring him home.   Tickets are too expensive and money is too tight to wait until the last minute to buy. 

The conclusion ended up being this, (after I told Dr. my 13 year old son volunteered to drive me to hospital) maybe it would be a good idea to get it on the schedule so we don't run into any snafus.  This may not even be an issue since my all of my kiddo's have come before their due dates.  Hard to know what it would be like this time after an 11 year break from the last one.  :)   I am going to pray, and pray hard that I go into labor on my own by this date, but, if it doesn't happen, our little one will be arriving on April 22nd. 

Which means...

Only 9 weeks to go!  Holy Cow!
