About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

Pretty Significant Milestones

Mar 11, 2015

In the past 4 weeks we have experienced a couple pretty significant milestones in the lives of two of our teenagers.

First, in February while I was in Idaho holding down the fort with my dad, our youngest teenager turned 16.  A little less than a month later, we celebrated our oldest sons 18th birthday.

How did we get here so fast?!?! It's unbelievable.

In just a couple months we will graduate our oldest son.  2 college age kids, one in her last two years of high school, and then we have those two renegade toddlers I talk about often.

Crazy, huh?  I feel crazy when I think about the daily comings and goings of our life.  There's a whole lotta crazy around here.  Crazy and ridiculous and fun and rowdy and hilarious and...well you get it, the list goes on and on.

In the blink of an eye our children that seemed so young and dependent just yesterday are growing and preparing to leave home, just as we embark on things like kindergarten with others.  It's strange, yet good.  It's brilliant, yet exhausting.  It's ridiculous at times, yet so unbelievably amazing.

The times are changing so fast.  So so very fast.  The future holds many adventures for us, no doubt.  We embrace each adventure, and hold on for dear life, because we know, it will be the adventure of a lifetime.
