Last minute deals and cruises go together really well, so we took full advantage!
We are home after a 7 day cruise to some beautiful places, with 4 of our kids. We managed to bring home with us the feeling of utter exhaustion, which is hard considering we were already tired when we left! :)
It was fun, and tiring, as I said before, but worth it. The littles did fabulous, and the teens, well, they were just hard to keep track of. All in all, I would do it again, and am thankful we could get somewhat of a break.
The picture above is from the ship at port in Montego Bay, Jamaica... while this view is gorgeous, we were not impressed at all with Jamaica, but made the best of it none the less.
Booking last minute also means not being able to get the early dinner time...therefore we ate every night at 8:15. 8:15 any other time is bed time for the youngest of the family, which meant lots of sleeping at dinner while we all over indulged a bit. We did a lot of walking, and probably burned every single calorie we consumed. Bonus!
Doing our best to create some good times and good memories, even when we find it hard to do so.
This was good.
