mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. 
Up until this month, Marlo as been a little bit uninterested in saying words.
She could say Mama, and Dada, but only when she felt like it, and it wasn't often.
So, for my reference, to keep track of her progress here are some new ones she has added.
Aaee = Alli
Bawl = Ball
I yah you = I love you
Bow = Cow
No
Bilw = Phil
Hi
Bye
We hear Hi and Bye all the time. The rest of the words come and go when she feels like.
She may or may not have said "Thank you" once, but since she is a one hit wonder, we may never know. :)
She makes sounds non-stop, all day long. I'm sure she is saying something, but to us it doesn't make sense. It's amazing progress that we are grateful for. I was actually a little concerned for her lack of speech, but now I think she will be just fine.
She is busily walking and trying to run all over the house, and has figured out how to squeeze through the tiniest space between the gate and wall to scale the stairs. Opening cupboards is on the top of her list of fun things to do, but not on Mommy's list of favs.
Not exactly sure of her weight, but it's right around 20lbs, and she is wearing size 18 months clothes. They are slightly big on her, but better than the too snug 12 months clothes.
She's way more fun than a barrel of monkeys! :)

Still waking up off and on throughout the night. Once or twice is the norm, but there are still nights that she is up 3, 4, 5 times. I don't think she ever gets in a deep sleep since she tosses and turns all night. What a happy girl though! She is pure joy!
