About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

A Few Fun Things

Sep 13, 2015

A couple weeks ago, we finally made it over to The Pearl, one hot evening.

First, we stopped at a mall we hadn't yet checked out, and found this:

I've struggled to find bagels here, but at this mall, there are bagels, and coffee in one place!  Win!

Another view on the other side of the bagel shop, with a dark view of my little poser.  What you can't see is a huge grin on her cute little face.  :)

Then, we found a familiar place and had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse, just because...Steak! We didn't even order steak though, because the steak sandwich looked so good. Okay, it was kinda steak, right?

After dinner, we stopped to take a picture of the beautiful interior of yet another mall, although, I have no idea what this one is called.

As you can see the architecture is as lovely as the little lady who managed to make sure she was also in this picture.  We've made progress...she isn't sticking her tongue out like she normally chooses to do in pictures.  So funny, that girl!

And finally, as little ride on a carousel to top of the evening.

I tried, and failed at getting a picture that was clear, but, if you can imagine that they were clearly happy and smiling here.

It was a good time! Unfortunately, we ended our evening with a little boy very sick to his stomach from drinking bad milk, at dinner...

First was the telling BURP....and then my mom instinct kicked into high gear with an "Oh, nooooooo" and looking for something, anything to clean up what was coming.  Poor guy.

That was fun!  More good times in the Middle East.
