About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

A lot to Grasp

May 1, 2011

This mornings news was a struggle for me.

It seems that sometime in the near future, (maybe today, tomorrow, next week) I will have to deliver my little one that has passed away.  My body is recognizing she is gone, and thus is doing what it does to take care of it.  As you can see, we don't know when it will be exactly, but we do know...there is a lot at risk.

We still need our little one to keep growing, and obviously if I deliver one, there is a risk of delivering both.  They think they can stop things, and prevent our sweetie from coming, but there are no guarantees.  We need so much more time.  Every day she remains inside of me, is 3-4% better chances of survival and less complication for her after she is born.  There are a couple little things working in our favor for the moment, but the fact remains it's going to happen whether we like it or not.

We need more days, hopefully another week or two.  Please be praying for that.  Each day really does make a huge difference.  I am doing my best to stay calm and relax.

Praying constantly, I am sitting here asking God for more time, and then when the time comes, for a healthy beautifully strong baby.
