This afternoon, things took a turn for the better and the contractions have slowed tremendously. I have been moved from Labor and Delivery to the Antepartum wing that helps keep the Mamas pregnant for as long as possible. It's an excellent step in the right direction.
Each day that passes and she stays put means a healthier baby, and a less worried Mommy. The ideal situation would be weeks and not just days. I just had my last steroid shot to help mature her lungs, just in case things move in the direction of delivery. So far today's news is good. Thanking the Lord for that.
As you can see from the picture below, we had a chance to take a look at our little lady. She is weighing in at 1lb 10oz....so a lot more growing needs to be done.
Please keep up the prayers for us all. It seems I may be here awhile, and it will be hard for my family. Thank you all so much for your encouragement and faithful prayers. You are all lifting us up as you pray. We love you all.

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
