About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

Little Houdini

Sep 27, 2010

This is Charlie.  She is very naughty.

It was just a typical Sunday morning at our house.  I was up before the kids, and sitting down to check my email before getting ready for the day, when I heard a strange noise coming from the kitchen.  I freaked out, and realized there was something in the cupboard, or behind it and thoughts of mice and rats raced through my mind.  Jake was at a retreat,  so he couldn't handle it for me.  The next best option was my son.  I woke him and told him what was going on, and then called Jake to see what we should do.

So, our neighbor, who I must say is very awesome was going to come to my rescue.  His cool headed wife mentioned Charlie, and then it all became clear.  When I walked in the door I was greeted by Phil saying that she had escaped once again.  UGH, she is a little stinker sometimes.

Fast forward to this evening.  There is no sign of her, and she isn't making any noise anymore.  I don't know what to do.  Em has cried off and on today, worried that she is going to die.

This is so not cool!      Charlie please come out, we don't know where you are, or if you are okay.  :(
