Today has been a mix of the good, bad, and the ugly.
Some of the good things Jake listed in the post below.
A little bad news was that the CRP test showed the infection was still growing. Not what we wanted to hear.
The ugliest news is something that makes us so sick to our stomachs.
The doctor said that as sick as Johnny is, that there will be complications such as:
Developmental delays
Brain damage
Hearing loss
Loss of vision
How's that for some encouragement. We feel so broken, and helpless tonight. We are praying that God will heal him completely and that Johnny will be used to show these doctors what prayer can do, and statistics can be wrong.
It's time for him to start showing he is getting better. In other words, the sedation he is under is because he is so sick, not because they are giving him something to make him so sleepy. He is really not responsive, and until he starts to get better, he won't be.
We want to thank you all for praying and ask that you continue on our behalf. I pray we get some good news tomorrow.

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
