About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

Playing the waiting game

Apr 10, 2010

This is what life is all about, right?

We are always waiting on something at our house.  I think this is true for most families today.

We wait for news on projects for work, how the family over seas is doing, what we will have for our next meal, and so on.

Then there is the BIG one:

When will the baby decide it's time to arrive!

As fast as the pregnancy has gone, these last days seem to creep on by, and the sleep interrupted nights are even longer.   With the unbearable nagging pain in my back often leaving me  in tears, I would say this Mama is done!  Too bad the baby doesn't think so.  :)

It will be soon enough I know, but there is just something about not getting a good nights sleep before the baby is even here that makes things seem more difficult. The nights will be short once the little guy arrives, but, that isn't what this is about.

If you can't sleep on your right side because it hurts, and you can't sleep on your left side for the same reason, add in not being able to lie on your back, and stomach sleeping is definitely out, what are we left with?

A tired, sore, worn out Mama.  That being said, can't wait to meet my little boy and give him snuggles...

And have my back, back to normal!  Soon, and very soon!
