Good News!
Hubby is doing so well, he most likely will not need surgery! We will know for sure in 3 weeks. They gave him a walking boot and told him to put most of the pressure on his heel to allow the outside of his foot time to heal. The Orthopedist said 6-8 weeks, as long as it is healing will be what is needed. What a relief!
Bad News
Our insurance doesn't cover CT scans for dental issues. Philip needs one.
And now to the ugly news
Our insurance doesn't cover CT scans for dental issues. That's right, you didn't read it wrong, I said it twice.
Jake needs one! Ugh. We also got the sickening news that the dental implants he has been working towards might not be a possibility because of a couple different issues. They are going to try another bone graft, I think, and see what happens. This should have been known before we started pumping cash into this very expensive project. Poor Jake. It would be so nice for this to not be a worry for us anymore.
So there you have it. I am thankful for the good news, since it seems there is usually the latter that quickly follows.

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
