About Me

I'm a mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly. More about me.

Yeah, that was me. I dropped it!

Feb 11, 2010

ARGH!

What's the worst thing you could possibly drop in the kitchen?  In one word I can easily say it has to be...

Spaghetti!

There aren't many things worse than a messy kitchen in the morning.  So, every night I get the mess from dinner cleaned up, so the day starts off right the next morning.  This is one of those things that happens over and over again, everyday of my life.  Not very glamorous I know, but it's necessary.  Tonight was like every other night as I zipped through and got the job done.  The only difference was, well somehow I dropped the spaghetti.

There is no other mess like a spaghetti mess!  The bowl had a lid, but the force of hitting the floor blew it off like a rocket!   Away it all went, up in the air, across the room, up and down the refrigerator, on the rug by the sink, all over the cupboards and walls.  UGH!  The simple task that I have well mastered of cleaning the kitchen, turned into a messy sight of spaghetti goop everywhere.  The dog sat and watched in disbelief and gave me a look of  "what did you just do!"  Just when I thought I had it all cleaned up, I would turn around and find more on the other side of the room.  I'm sure when the sun comes up in the morning I will see many places that I missed.  Oh, joy!

Yes, it was me!  I dropped it!  Haha.  :)
