Lately things have been a bit more busy than usual. The kids school is busy, Dr appointments, Orthodontist appointments, grocery store runs, Christmas and Birthday shopping galore, and company coming and going...not to mention the normal stuff like cooking, cleaning, laundry and such. This year is the first year in a long time that I am making Thanksgiving dinner, and I feel I have lost my handle on things. Normally this is something that is super simple for me, but, I am out of the hang of it. So this will be my 3rd grocery store run to get the rest of what I need and I keep thinking of more that needs to be added to the list. Have I mentioned how much I hate grocery shopping...yuck! This time of year is worse than any other time, so crowded and everyone is shopping for the same things! Not a fan of grocery store shoppers...when we lived in Florida the snow birds were the worst...there were days I was rammed by old people who have the right to be first in line, apparently. How rude! :) Kinda makes me laugh though!
The kids are going to have an art class today, should be fun, especially since someone else is leading it. They have all finished an entire year of math, and are working on another year, we are hopeful that by the time baby comes they will have gone through 3 books. The library around the corner has been very nice for reading, and I don't have to buy books! Yay, no excuse to not read anymore.
As for the baby, I can tell he is getting so much stronger. The little bumps are turning into big movements and happening a lot more often. I love to feel him move! On a funny note, a couple of times in the last 2 weeks after making dinner and taking my apron off, I have looked down and thought to myself...Holy Cow, I ate way to much and then realized, oh yeah, I'm pregnant! :) When I get busy I forget the state I am in, so surprising at first, but it makes me laugh...I feel like such a dork! lol!
My hubbies brother and his wife and baby will be here Friday for Thanksgiving. We can't wait to meet little Rocco and play with him. Think some of us will go to Knotts Berry Farm, J's previous military gets him in for free this month, along with another person, and up to 6 more for $15. We may take advantage of that. His birthday is also the day before Thanksgiving, don't know what to do for him. My birthday is the following Monday, we are planning go to Disney that day, I get in free, which is nice since I can't really ride anything. Finally, my daughter turns 14 a week after my birthday! I can't believe it! I am having a hard time deciding what to get her...maybe we should go for a pedicure, and girls day out. What else do 14 year old girls want? I am at a loss! Any ideas?

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
