March was a big month for Miss Marlo. Actually, it was a huge month for her!
Potty Training. Need I say more? :) It's been a challenge, and it's been good all at the same time. She has done much better than I expected her to do in some ways, and it's been a challenge in others. All in all though, I'd say it's a win!
We get a daily reminder that her birthday, is May 7th....
That's just a month away, and she will be three!!! When I say daily reminder, it's about a 1000 times a day, and I wish I could say that is an exaggeration. She tells anyone who will listen.
Another big milestone for her in March was a transition from the crib to a toddler bed. This was a no brainer since Daddy taught her how to climb out of the crib. Ha! She kept us going back and forth the first couple nights, but, after that she has done well. Lots of change for her, and she took like it was nothing. So proud of her and how well she has done, and continues to do.
Baby Ashy Man, (as Marlo calls him) is growing so much faster and accomplishing so many more things than any of the other kids did by this age. If he continues to grow at the rate he has established, he will outweigh Marlo within a couple months!
Marlo - 25lbs on a good day
Baby Ashy Man- 22 solid pounds of boy
By 8 months, he had 8 teeth, learned to stand up on his own, and climb the stairs. He says, Mama and Dada, and we've caught the occasional "hi". He has learned to wave, and eats everything I give him, happily. He's a sweet boy, and is full of energy. It's hard to believe in less than 3 short months he will turn one. He just started to sleep through the night in the past 2 weeks. If we could just get Marlo to sleep better, it would be perfect. We "attempted" to have Asher sleep in the crib in Marlo's room, to no avail. Those two were going back and forth waking each other up, and it's not worth it to me to have that happen... so we wait a little longer.
I'm sure I've left things out; there is so much to try to remember. For now, I will leave you with a picture of my two littlest cutie pies:
