It was one of those nights, the kind where nothing sounds good for dinner, except DESSERT!
The kids and I decided to splurge a little and go get some cheesecake. It was exactly what we all needed! Only problem was, everyone in the Inland Empire had the same idea, so there was a bit of a wait. Oh, well, we had a good time.
While waiting a little girl with the cutest glasses decided she didn't like my son's version of Bieber hair, and hauled out and hit him a few times, which made him laugh. She was probably 3 years old, and super cute. Then a little baby girl with the fullest head of hair I have ever seen was making googly eyes and smiling at the same boy that the other girl wailed on. :) So funny. He said it made him excited about his baby sisters. With a correction of sort of, and a big goofy grin after he said it.
When we finally got to our table, I was ready to eat! That was until the waitress set one of the cups of water on the edge of the menu, and my son didn't see it...Allison ended up drenched, and cold. By the way it is freezing outside! So, we were side tracked with cleaning up a cold spill. Why is that it always seems there is so much more water when it spills than there is in the cup. Poor kiddo. She was a good sport about it.
We ordered an appetizer of Fried Mac n' cheese...Yummo! Never had that before, and the only trouble with it, was there was just enough for each of us to have one. Then we split two pieces of cheesecake. So good! All of this was in an attempt to eat something high in fat to help me bulk up for these little gals that are sucking every calorie out of what I eat. They are growing and so is my belly, but amazingly, my weight stays the same! Go figure! I know this won't last, but I have a quota to make, and I am not getting there fast enough!
On the way to the car, it was a mad dash for the kids to see who would get to the front seat first. Crazy kids! We had a good time. :)

mommy blogger. As a mother that has suffered the loss of multiple children while becoming a mother of the bride to our oldest, raising 2 young adults, an 8 year old preemie and a 6 year old tornado, I have a lot to share. I can't guarantee you will agree with everything I say, but I think you may just enjoy it. This is our life, the good, bad and ugly.
